How to register a new Company/Organization and link Lead/Opportunity – Spotter V2

How to register/delete a Company/Organization

Upon entering  Spotter , click the (+) icon on the top bar. 

IMPORTANT: It is also possible to register a Company/Organization by going to the left side menu » Company/Organization » List of Companies » Register.  

The Company/Organization page will open, containing its details, and the possibility to add a lead directly to it.

IMPORTANT: If a similar Lead/Opportunity already exists, Spotter will notify you when filling in the name.  

If you want to Delete the Company/Organization, just click on the ellipses and then Delete. 

IMPORTANT: When clicking Delete, there is the possibility of deleting  only  the Company (Opportunities will remain unlinked) or the Company  together  with the linked Opportunities.  

How to link and unlink Lead/Opportunity from a Company/Organization

Directly from the Company/Organization page: 

1.1 Already logged into your  Spotter , on the left side menu, click on  Company/Organization » List of Companies. 

1.2 Select the desired Company/Organization by clicking on its name. 

1.3 In the Company Details window, select  Add Lead/Opportunity. 

1.4 When the Lead/Opportunity Registration screen appears, fill in the necessary data. Remembering that this will create the Opportunity directly linked to this Organization, as shown in the print. Finally, just click  Register. 

By Lead/Opportunity:

2.1 On the Lead Details page, go to the  Company/Organization card  and click  Link Organization. 

2.2 Fill in the necessary data and, at the end, click  Save.  

IMPORTANT: If the Company/Organization already exists, Spotter will advise that there are similar organizations and, when clicking to view, it is possible to link to a previously existing Company.   

Through the Lead/Opportunity Registration page  ,  it is also possible to directly link a Company/Organization by filling in the  Organization field.

If a company is not selected from the list, the system will create a new company linked to this opportunity.

2.3 To unlink the Opportunity, just click, on the Lead/Opportunity Details page, on the pencil icon next to the Company/Organization card.

2.4 Click on  Unlink Organization  and then on Unlink .
