Leads are entering Duplicates in Spotter: RD MKT

Created by Andre Greiner, Modified on Tue, 7 Mar, 2023 at 11:00 AM by Andre Greiner

Is your automation flow or webhook configured, but your leads are being duplicated in Exact Spotter? We've seen this happen, in most cases, some information or configuration was missing.

So let's go over here all the points that need conference. Save these images to send us, in case it is not possible to solve everything through the article ;)

First of all, let's review the URL:

https://api.exactsales.com.br/rd/v1/YOURTOKEN/

This YOURTOKEN part is your Exact Spotter account token, you can find this information in the integrations menu .

So whenever you see YOURTOKEN in our materials, that's the code we're talking about, okay? Now, come on!

1st Conference:

Check that the duplicate leads within Spotter have exactly the same public link in the DR, and take us to the same lead within the DR:

Hypothesis: the lead may have been duplicated within the RD MKT and both were received in Spotter. If it was duplicated in the RD, the links will be different. In this case, it is necessary to understand within the DR how this duplication took place, and correct it.

2nd Conference:

Make sure the Lead is going through 2 or more automation flows at the same time, and that both flows are configured to send them to Spotter. If the lead goes through more than one flow, it is necessary to review the rules of each flow to prevent the same lead from obeying the rules of both and thus causing duplication (suggestion is to create a segmentation list, or review the list of events listed in each automation flow).

Hypothesis: URLs may be different in streams, or send different information to SpPotter, which could cause the lead to be duplicated. In this case, it is necessary to review the flows and URLs so that duplicity is avoided.

3rd Conference:

Check if there are automation flows AND ALSO webhooks working together , so that the lead goes through both actions and causes their duplicity in Spotter. It's common for strategy changes to miss some details, and you may end up forgetting to delete old flows or webhooks when creating new automations.

Hypothesis: URLs configured in fact act to duplicate the lead In this case, you need to review the flows, webhooks and URLs to avoid duplication.

If even after all these checks everything is correct and your lead is going to be duplicated in Spotter, get in touch with our team via chat or email, and send us all those screens in which you did the checks, and the leads links in Spotter and RD. Without this information, it will not be possible to provide an assertive service, okay?
