How to use the telephony itself to make calls via Spotter? Spotter V2

If you choose to use your own telephony instead of Exact Spotter's Webphone, it is possible through our API documentation.

There are two ways to do this and they complement each other. If the customer wants to have the audio of the call on the Lead's timeline, he must at the end of the phone call make a POST  to the following URL:

To configure this on the spotter, go to the Side Menu > Team  and configure the same extension that the user will use to make calls through his own telephony.

Choose the Pre-seller and click Edit User , as follows:

In  telephone 1 , register the extension that will be used:

Note: In the example below we use (73) 0 which is the extension that one of our users uses in Microsip itself:

Another configuration that is necessary is in Settings > Advanced Settings:

In Others >  Enable the telephony protocol in Customization of Links for Phones by entering in the field tel:{tel} according to the print below:

The protocol tel:{tel}  independent of Spotter is a protocol that makes the Browser call certain Windows protocol and in Windows Protocol that is the {tel} is bound to open Microsip.

Based on these configurations, all numbers registered in the spotter's Leads become clickable links that, when clicking on the number, open your Microsip or Own Telephony and start the call there.
