Today, in the WhatsApp Business tool, when we have a chat from a number not registered in Spotter, it is possible to link this chat to a lead or contact that already exists in the customer base using the Link contact option .
After accessing the Link contact button , the system will open a modal allowing you to search by the name of the Lead or Contact. If the search is for Lead, the chat will be linked to the Lead and if the search is for the name of the Contact then the chat will be linked to the Contact.
Another option in modal is to allow transferring the existing chat to the pre-salesperson responsible for the Lead.
To link the chat to a new lead , the behavior is the same as it exists today by accessing the Register lead button .
Note: In addition to the chat list, the Link contact option will also be available in the quick service modal.
