How to start the conversation with the lead using WhatsApp Business? - Spotter v2

WhatsApp  Business  is the ideal tool for any company that wants to have a conversational marketing strategy. Discover the templates that allow you to start the conversation with leads and increase your business opportunities.

As we saw in the article  WhatsApp Business and Spotter: What you need to know before using ,  Facebook does not allow the use of free messages to start a conversation with a  lead , also known as  active prospecting , as is done with  WhatsApp  personal.

 

To get around this limitation, Facebook itself   offers an alternative, which is the use of  templates  pre-approved by them, in order to allow you to make the first contact with the  lead , as long as the contact is not characterized as active prospecting .


When to use WhatsApp  Business  templates  ?

 The WhatsApp Business template is a special key to start the conversation with the lead, especially to send that message that he cannot fail to read.

Take advantage of the templates to confirm the meeting, get back in touch with a specific subject, get back in touch with an interested lead. 

In addition to allowing the initiation of contact, the resource of the templates can also be used to resume conversations that ended automatically, that is, chats where the last message received was more than 24 hours ago.


How to use  WhatsApp  Business templates  ?

For automatically closed chats, the user will be able to respond by clicking on the " Message Templates " link, where a window with all the  approved template  options will be displayed, so that the user can choose which one to use.


 

Then, just choose which  template  you want to use, check the value of the variables and click send. 


 

A new conversation can also be started from the quick response window.

It is possible to start a new conversation from the Chats List, just access the menu Telephony > Chats (WhastApp), enter the desired phone number, choose the  template , adjust the variables (if any) and send.


 


 

Note:  Chats that ended automatically can also be resumed via the Chats List, simply access the chat details and click on the   Message Templates " link  . 


Lead Details

 

The WhatsApp Business icon   is available in the actions menu under the  lead details Just click, select the contact you want to send the message to (if there is more than one), select the  template  and send.


 


 


IMPORTANT  After 24 hours without a response from a lead, the pre-seller will only be able to forward new messages, via  template , per Whatsapp Business rule.  This way he will be able to continue the conversation with the lead for another 24 hours. Remembering that a well-written template ensures that the lead remains interested in chatting, and so the pre-seller can qualify it. 


How to enable WhatsApp Business templates?

To enable, go to Settings >  WhatsApp Business  >  Message Templates  . In this tab you will find all the  pre-configured templates  suggested by Exact Sales. 


 

Click on the  template  to view the content, then click on  Request  to assign your list of  templates 

 

After requesting, Facebook will evaluate the content of the  template  and it may take  up to 5  business days to return the request and release the use. 


 

Note : The variables will be replaced by the value corresponding to each one of them, when sending the message. Example:  Meeting date  replaced with  02/08/2021 . 


Is it possible to create  templates  for  WhatsApp Business ?

 

The  templates  were developed by Exact Sales, respecting the standard required by Facebook and based on the routine and needs of a pre-salesperson. 

 

If none of the  templates  meets the need, contact Support to request a modification  or the creation of a new one. It will go through the same evaluation criteria and availability period as described above. 4 to 5 working days.

 

You must send the new templates to the email support@exactsales.com.br in the following format:

Here the name of the template


Template Message: 
Here is the template message indicating line breaks when necessary.


It is important to mention that in the template message, the template variables must be indicated, those that have automatic completion, such as "Hello So-and-so {here is a variable filled in with the name of the lead} , here is Ciclana  {here is another variable filled in automatically with the name of the pre-seller} .

 

Currently, it is possible to register the following variables: Name, Pre-seller Name, Origin, Subject, Meeting Date, Meeting Start Time, Meeting End Time, Seller Name, Day, Company

 

Another detail that is something that Facebook analyzes when checking the text of the templates is whether that text is characterized as an active prospecting text, if this type of prospecting is characterized, the template will be disapproved. The deadline for analysis is up to 5 working days.


IMPORTANT :  After approval of the template by Facebook, it is not possible to change it, having to create a new template. Deadline: after submission facebook has 4 to 5 business days for approval.
