Qualified leads don't always result in a sale, but even discarded ones can become customers. When a lead goes through pre-sales or negotiation, a relationship with the company is established.

Nurturing this relationship is essential for these leads to return to the sales funnel and become customers. In this article, you'll learn how to set up an email cadence to nurture discarded leads from your funnel automatically

  1. Before configuring the email cadence, create the corresponding templates. Prepare specific templates for each type of lead, considering that very hot leads tend to return more quickly. Create at least 6 templates for each temperature. Create specific templates for your highest converting segments and more generic ones for the rest

  2. Before setting up cadence, make sure you have at least three lead first contact templates. If you need to, check out this  content.

  3. On the cadences screen, create a new dynamic list.

Dynamic lists are automatically updated with leads that meet specific criteria. When a lead with configured characteristics is added to the base, it is automatically included in the dynamic list and enters the programmed cadence.

  1. Next, set up a segmentation with the  Current Stage criterion  and, in the field on the side, choose the  first stage of your pre-sales funnel.

  2. Configure the other list parameters and add a slicer with the criteria,  Drop Reason  and select  All  Drop Reasons

  3. Add another criteria and now select  Temperature  in the criteria field and filter the  Very Hot  and  Hot temperatures  with the deepest data collection in your funnel.

  1. On the campaign creation screen, select the dynamic list you created in the  mailing list field.

  2. Set first send to 10 minutes

  3. Add 5 more submissions every two weeks and select  "didn't respond to previous email"  You can increase or decrease the frequency of submissions. Analyze campaign data, open rates, response rates and sign-ups to understand the ideal frequency for your leads.

With the dynamic list, leads discarded with hot or very hot temperature will automatically receive the contents of the configured flow, without the team having to manually nurture or monitor them. Pre-winners will be notified when a lead responds to an email.
