Hubspot CRM Update

We have important information for you who use integration between Spotter and Hubspot CRM!


As of 8/25/2022, the authentication method between Hubspot CRM and Spotter V2 will change.


The new integration will be done through OAuth 2.0 authentication, which is an authorization protocol that allows an application to authenticate itself in another. For this to happen, an application asks for access permission for a user, without having access to any of his passwords.


If you already use integration with Hubspot CRM, from the moment of publication of this change, it will be necessary to re-authenticate.


Accounts that already use Hubspot CRM will only have to log in as a Manager and in the Settings -> Integrations -> CRM menu and click on the Authorize button. 



After clicking, the Manager will be taken to a new tab with the Hubspot login, where he will allow the Spotter to fetch and send information to the Hubspot CRM.


Comments:

1) Sellers will continue to integrate normally;

2) The field mappings remained in force.

Therefore, the two points above did not need to be changed.
