How to integrate with Office365 - Spotter V2

Aiming to improve the salespeople's routine in Spotter,  Exact Sales created the  Integrated Agenda  — with this, it is no longer necessary to manually open boxes in the salespeople's agenda. It integrates Spotter with external schedules automatically, identifying available times in the seller's schedule. These integrations can be done with  Google Calendar  and  Office365.

IMPORTANT:  The operation of the integrated organizer is compatible with online/Via Web organizers . Local applications, such as the Outlook calendar, installed directly on the machine, work offline and will present incompatibility, running the risk of being misconfigured because they are not homologated integrations.

IMPORTANT : The built-in calendar only works for corporate accounts, i.e. paid Microsoft accounts.

To integrate the agenda, just follow these steps:

Access the  Settings > Scheduling menu .

Tick the Office365 email server integration  option  and save.

3. Then, access the menu Team » Pre-Sales/Sales » Edit User.

4.1. Scroll down the page until you find the  calendar integration , where you just click Submit .

 4.2. The seller will receive an email with a request for calendar integration, after he accepts the integration with him will be completed in Office365.

Configuration in the Exchange Admin Center

For Spotter to have access to Office365 account data, Microsoft requires you to set up an organization relationship to share the calendar with an external business partner — in this case, Exact Sales. Follow the step by step below.

Access the configuration page with the admin user of the Office365/Exchange account by clicking here .

1. From the dashboard of the Microsoft 365 admin center, go to Admin > Exchange / Office365.

2. Go to organization, then click on individual sharing;

3. Click new + and define the policy name (eg Exact Sales)

4. Right after that, click again on + to add the domain, as shown below.

5. Under Sharing Rule , specify the domain and information you want to share.

The. Check the Sharing with a specific domain option;
B. Enable the Share your calendar folder option ;
w. Select All appointment information, including time, subject, location, and title ;
d.
 Enable the Share your contacts folder option

6. Then click on Save.

IMPORTANT:  This configuration can take from 4 to 24 hours to propagate on Microsoft's servers, however it is usually fast. When in doubt, run an integration test with Spotter to confirm propagation.

You can also take better advantage of this integration by setting up Business Hours Scheduling. To learn more about this item click here .
