In order for users to comply with Google's privacy and security requirements, a new requirement was recently launched so that anyone using third-party applications can access G Suite data , which is the case with Exact Spotter .
In order to make this configuration easier for you, we have created a brief article to help you configure this Spotter authorization in the Google Admin Console .
IMPORTANT : It is mandatory to release the Spotter application with Google . If this procedure is not carried out, the e-mail center will stop working , directly impacting the work routine of ALL system users.
NOTICE: It is worth noting that this requirement is not from Exact Sales, but from Google . Check out this link from Google on controlling third-party apps that access G Suite data.
Follow the step by step of this configuration in the video or in the text below to authorize Exact Spotter in Google's list of third-party applications quickly and easily.
1. Log in to the Google Admin Console .
IMPORTANT: To log in to the Google Admin Console, your email server must be from Google (G Suite) and the access email must be the administrator of the account, not just belonging to the company's domain. Note: This email does not end with @gmail.com.
2. From the Admin console home page, go to > Security > API Controls .
3. On the main API Controls page , select Manage third-party app access .
4. Scan the list and find the apps named as Exact Sales
Make the app trusted
• If there is only one Exact Sales app , click Change access in the right corner.
• To change access for several apps at once, select them using the checkbox and click on Change access at the top of the table.
IMPORTANT : If the Exact Sales application(s) does not appear in the list of applications shown in the print in step 4, you must add the application . To do so, on the same screen, click on the Add App button > Select the option Name Or Customer ID from the App Outh > Search for Exact Sales and click on Add
Follow the setup from step 5.
5. Change access by selecting " Trusted: Can access all Google services."
6. After clicking CHANGE , the configuration completion message will be displayed.
That's it, now that it's been configured, you can go back to working with Exact Spotter in peace.
